Why Am I Getting So Many Followers?
Respect for my writing or trying to sell me something?
I have been writing on Medium for a few months and enjoying it.
I enjoyed watching my followers get to 100 but never did follow for follow.
I am over 100 now and notice that I get many followers per day.
Then I saw a lot of them were not reading or commenting on my writing.
Why would they be following me if they didn’t know my writing?
I looked at their descriptions and a lot of them were selling things or advertising their websites.
I wasn’t sure if they just followed random writers looking to sell things?
I hope they are truly interested in my writing but will have to wait and see if they read, comment, etc….
Have any of you experienced this ‘follower phenomenon?’
