Where can I still apply?

To everyone out there looking for a job, best of luck. I’ve compiled a list of some name-brand companies that are still hiring, and I’ll write a bit about how I would approach job hunting now.

At the time of writing:

If you’re interested in working for startups or lesser-known companies, I’d look at these sites:

I’d also recommend leveraging your network as much as possible. Reach out to your contacts (and be proactive with recruiters on LinkedIn); it’ll be worth the effort if one of messages these convert to an interview opportunity.

I’ve got an interview. Now what?

I’ll remind you that competition is probably the most fierce now. At my current job, hiring managers have repeatedly commented that there’s a very, very strong talent pool right now. You’ll be competing against a lot of engineers who know how to interview well.

I highly, highly recommend doubling down on practicing your coding skills, but also really nail down your behavioral and system design interviews. You don’t want to leave anything to chance at this point. I’ve previously written a guide here on every resource I used to secure multiple offers near the end of last year. Do mock interviews and keep your communication with recruiters sharp.

Best of luck!
