Who is Alexander Dugin & Why does it Matter?
The Alt-Right talks about Globalists, Satanic rituals and Alternative Science, but where does this all come from? What is the ideology behind most contemporary Conspiracy Theories?

The Globalists are trying to create a “one-world government”, elites are trafficking children and the women’s rights movement destroy families — these are talking points Qanon followers, Infowars “soldiers” and Breitbart News consumers use to make their case.
Donald Trump is saving us from the “Swamp” in Washington and fights his battle against the “Deep State”. We have all heard these things.
To get a better understanding of this, we need to take a look at two books written by Alexander Dugin — “Foundations of Geopolitics” (1997) and “The Fourth Political Theory” (2009).
Dugin divides the world into two interest groups; the “Globalists” and the “Eurasian Movement”. Liberal democracies are representing the Globalist side, while Putin’s Russia is to be seen as the Eurasian Movement.
“Foundations of Geopolitics” heavily influenced Russian foreign policy for almost two decades. Besides gaining control over Eurasia, Alexander Dugin also explains how to defeat the dominance of the USA. That is where things get scary.
Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States to fuel instability and separatism, for instance, provoke “Afro-American racists”. Russia should “introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements — extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics”. (Alexander Dugin. Foundations of Geopolitics. Translated by John Dunlop.)
Dugin is not an advocate for democracy, he prefers strong leaders with a strong government. He supports patriarchy and he chooses religion over science at any given day.
Looking at the alt-right movement in the USA, we see the same priorities.
They are in favor of a strong leader, against abortion and want traditional gender roles. Everything that argues against their beliefs is condemned as “Satanic” or driven by the “Deep State”.
At the same time, we see the rise of civil unrest in the USA. Black Lives Matter and other groups are challenging the current government. Describing Trump’s efforts to deal with protests as confrontational would be an understatement.
Sounds like Alexander Dugin’s dream has come true. The US government shifts more and more towards Religion, Law&Order and Anti-Science, at the same time, we see civil unrest in the streets. Just like Dugin planned it.
“The Fourth Political Theory” is basically the next step in Dugin’s agenda. His goal is to abolish concepts of individualism, class or nation and replace them with the pure concept of “Dasein”/Existence.
Dugin believes that Liberal Democracies, Communism and Fascism should be replaced by a concept of “existence” that is taken from the German philosopher Martin Heidegger. Dugin’s sympathies for Heidegger are not surprising at all.
Alexander Dugin is the modern version of a philosopher that uses semantics to promote an ideology that could be described as fascism but giving it a different name.
It is scary to see that most US conspiracy theories are based on the ideas of a man that is backed up by the Kremlin and its leader Putin. We should be worried about destroying the USA from within, without even noticing it.
An “experience-based” society that equally values anecdotal observations and science is what Dugin suggests as a solution to overcome our current system. He wants to abolish LGBTQ rights as he thinks they are all Satanic people. Religion should be playing a bigger role in our daily lives to keep the Patriarchy going. These are Alexander Dugin’s main talking points.
Next time we see Alex Jones talking about the “cabal”, we should have in mind that Alexander Dugin has been a guest on “Infowars”.
When we see Steve Bannon creating Alt-Right Networks in Europe and influencing US politics with a staged media event (America’s Frontline Doctors), we should not forget that he is a huge fan of Alexander Dugin’s work.
The Alt-Right does not have many intellectuals in the USA backing up their perspective, but there is one man in Russia that knows how to spread his ideas all across the globe; his name is Alexander Dugin.
