While Lost in Thought
An amusing musing on my musings

While lost in thought long hours passed me by as though mere seconds, and it was just as if I’d been unconscious or asleep. My mind had been transported to a realm beyond the worldly to where I found myself adrift in musings, long and deep.
Time is just illusory. It drags when you are watching, but once the brain’s distracted following a crooked line the thudding of its footsteps disappears into the silence, and one is left instead attuned to what is in their mind.
There isn’t necessarily a goal behind the practice of letting the mind wander, getting lost inside a maze. Yet sometimes there is wisdom to be found inside the labyrinth, and if not that, at very least it whiles away the days!
