Where To Get Photo’s For Your Medium Articles

There are a number of places where you can get high-quality images to use in your articles. Some options include:
Stock photo websites:
Websites such as Shutterstock, iStock, and Getty Images have a large collection of stock photos that you can use for a fee.
Creative Commons:
Websites such as Pixabay and Pexels and offer a wide range of images that are available for free under Creative Commons licenses.

Public domain:
Websites such as the Library of Congress or the Smithsonian provide a wide range of images, many of which are in the public domain and can be used freely.
Original photographs:
You can also take your own photographs and get exactly what you want.
Check other articles for sources:
As you can see on the photos on this article many articles credit their photo's with a link to where they got it. (This should be standard practice but not everyone does this.) These links will often lead to websites where you can find many photo’s, or the exact type of photo that you need for your article

When finding your photo’s
It’s important to note that even if an image is labeled as “free” or “public domain,” certain usage restrictions may still apply. Always check the terms of use and credit the source accordingly, also make sure that you have the right to use the image.
