Where Are they Now? The Cast of Snow Dogs
The Celebrities of Yesterday . . . Today!
This week on “Where Are They Now?” we look at the cast of the 2002 film Snow Dogs, starring Cuba Gooding Jr.
This delightful tail (oh what a hilarious misspelling) follows a Miami Dentist (Cuba. Wait, I thought he was from Miami?) who inherits a team of sled dogs. He has to learn how to shepherd these dogs over the Alaskan wilderness in a fierce race, or risk losing the animals to a crusty mountain man.
Filmed on location over 21 years ago, the movie was released to underwhelming critical reception. Luckily it made $115 million at the box office, and back in 2002, money was worth more than it was today. That probably translates to somewhere in the neighborhood of $2.5 billion in 2023 dollars. If that’s true, it means that Snow Dogs outgrossed Avatar 2 at the box office. Feel free to steal that fun anecdote for your next cocktail party!
Let’s take a look at what the cast is up to today.
Cuba Gooding Jr.

Oh my . . .
It appears that in 2019, Gooding was charged with misdemeanors for forcible touching and sexual abuse in the third degree after he allegedly groped a woman in Times Square. Then in October of the same year he was indicted on a separate sexual abuse charge. Since then over 30 women have come forward to accuse Gooding of unwanted sexual touching.
Well, let’s move on shall we? I wonder what Sisqo is up to?
Sisqo

Since 2002, Sisqo has re-released many version of The Thong Song, with diminishing returns. In 2010 Sisqo was a contestant on Britain’s Celebrity Big Brother 7, in which he placed 8th.
Sisqo recently released a holiday book for children entitled Sisqo’s Perfect Christmas. The book is beloved by children everywhere, so long as they are related to Sisqo, because otherwise it is unlikely they would ever have encountered this poor seller.
Well that probably wasn’t the career he was hoping for. Surely somebody from the cast is doing well now. What about dogs?
The Snow Dogs

Oh. Right.
Dogs don’t live very long.
. . .
