When You’re Blocked and Need Some Inspiration, Do This
If your profession’s missing, shoot me a comment, I’ll add it to the list.

Are you an accountant, not knowing how to be creative anymore?
Are you a blogger lacking the inspiration for their next post?
Are you a programmer in a meeting with your boss, your client, and other people that, like them, don’t understand a thing when it comes to computers?
Are you a project manager not only wanting to kill your stakeholders (that’s obvious) but wondering where to hide the bodies?
Are you a data scientist wanting to model, but ‘business’ asked you to understand their ‘problem’ first?
Or maybe a reader, waiting for the jokes to come?
Say no more. These tips are for you.
Health comes first. Stay hydrated. But never lose focus and keep on typing at all times.

Pretend that your computer is the lazy one wanting to stay in bed all day long.

Talk to your computer with your hands. You never know; the AI, Siri, or Alexa might understand.

Have your dog do it for you. Nobody will understand a word, but she’s cute. So, things should work out great.

Sit on a barstool in your kitchen and hold a press conference with invisible journalists. They won’t be asking any difficult questions. I promise.

Look at your neighbor and smile. You won’t disturb him; he’s as blocked as you’re. If you’re lucky enough, it could lead to some unblocking under the sheets (of paper).

Go and sit somewhere cold and uncomfortable. If possible, without any chance to plug your laptop. Then set yourself an ambitious goal and wait for the battery to die.
Go as far as you can. You can do better.

You still can do better.

Okay! That’s good.
