When Will I Stop Being a New Writer?
Is it the followers or the number of reads or the amount of money you make?

Have you ever wondered when you stop being a new writer? I have wondered about this. I do not feel like a good writer, I do not have a lot of followers, nor do I earn a lot of money from writing.
But I do feel the progress of my writing and I am proud of myself. I have this tendency to compare myself with what I was before and see if I progress or not.
Another question, maybe a better question, is:
Is not being a new writer important?
Will tagging myself as an experienced writer help me in any way? Will I be more confident? What will my, more confident, writing look like? Will it impact more people?
And that is the question that tickles my inners.
Would I impact more people if I would be a more experience writer?
What about the purpose?
That seems to be a question that does not really have a lot to do with the topic, right? But hear, or maybe read🙃, me out here.
Everyone has a purpose behind her or his articles, right? Maybe you feel that you are funny and people will have a nice time reading your ideas. Or maybe you learned something that you feel is valuable and want to teach to others. Or maybe you want to make more money. Or maybe you feel better when you write your thaught and feel that you are not alone in feeling and thinking in a particular way.
Whatever your purpose is, that is your drive. That is what you should have in mind when writing. That is what I have in mind when I am writing.
Writing in itself is not a purpose. We don’t write to become better writers. We write because we want people to laugh, or we want people to feel better, or we want people to be happier, or we want ourselves to feel better.
Why is knowing your purpose important?
Because that is what we should be improving. Improve so you make more people laugh, or make them laugh more. Improve so you reach more people that need your wisdom. Improve so you make more money. Improve so you feel better when you write.
When you feel closer towards your purpose, you feel happier, you feel more complete, you feel proud. Also, we always like the road towards our purpose. It is always awesome to fell
Improve your way towards your purpose.
That is what being a good writer means for each of us. Not having a lot of followers, or having a lot of reads. These are the consequences of us getting closer to our purposes.
So … getting back to the initial question. When will I stop being a new writer? Never. I will always learn and will always try to reach as many souls as possible and help as many people as possible.
I would recommend you do the same. Grow towards your goals, forget about tags, forget about being a good writer,
BE THE BEST YOU ARE. THAT’S ENOUGH!
