When the Land is Happy and Shining in Lush Green
A photo essay from my latest rollerblading trip

It was another Monday. A Monday late in the season. But the past week had a day or two of rainy weather which made us work less and relax more. So I thought I had some energy left this Monday.
I strapped on my rollerblades and off I went.
Into the countryside.
Passing quaint villages and lots of farmland.

When I remembered there was more to look at than the ground underneath my blades I saw the shining blue of the sky. What a lovely day it was!

And there was green. The rain from the past few days had rejuvenated the country. Everything looked so refreshed.
After a long and dry summer, plants were soaking up all the water.

I chose a beautiful bike trail leading through the countryside. I passed barely any soul and had the resting places all for myself.

I remembered to look down again and change my perspective. It makes up for great photographs too.

And then there was this light in my day. Just as my legs were getting tired and I was thinking of all the distance I still had to cover to get back home, I spotted this tiny piece of art.
A shining smile in nature.

Right after the yellow piece of happiness I looked up at the sky and admired the fluffy cushion clouds.
It was a beautiful day, that is for sure.

The sun was shining and lending me some power to make it back.
