The Pool Water or The Stream Water
Does the water in the pool have fun? Even the water in the ocean knows that it can anyway get back in; the shore is its boundary. But, have you thought about the life of water in a stream? See how fun and thrilling as long as it's in the stream.
It flows and flows! Twists and turns! Gushing against the rocks! Rolling over the pebbles! Rubbing against the grass and ground covers! Even roots and fallen trees block its way!
Can rest for a while! Freshen up to get agile!
You don’t know what will come next!
Will it know beforehand that it is going to be falling so deep from hundreds of feet high from the mountains to form that beautiful waterfall?
If it misses out on something, it's gone forever, can't go back to get it. Even when it falls from hundreds of feet high and goes so deep in the plunge pool, it still bounces back up and starts flowing again with even more force to discover the next adventure.
And, can you see the richness it gets through this travel?
The color and fragrances of all the plants and flowers it touches! The healing effects from the medicinal properties of the roots that are imbibed in it! The traces of minerals it washes off the rocks and pebbles!
It has to go through all that to enrich itself and to enrich other lives on this planet, quenching the thirst of millions of species, including humans, and helping us thrive.
So, hats off to all those great hearts whose lives are like that of the stream water. You are getting enriched by the lessons you learn from those struggles and downfalls to help yourselves and make others' lives better. You have a great responsibility and are destined to do something big and inspire others!
