Random Ramblings

Recently, I read this fantastic piece by Lucy Socha on random thoughts which I find really entertaining and interesting. So I have decided to write my own twenty five random thoughts which I will begin right after this paragraph. I will not be editing or adding anything else after I write it to preserve the authenticity of the thoughts. In other words, what you are about to read are real-time random thoughts that are in my mind. Isn’t this exciting? Alright, are you ready? Let’s go!

What if animals come in pastel or neon colours? Would a lion still look majestic and ferocious if it has a hot pink mane? And what about pink elephants?

Why is the word “lisp” so incredibly difficult to pronounce? Or worse, “lisps”. I imagine it must be hard for people with lisps to say this word.

I wonder if everyone brushes their teeth in some kind of systematic order each time. Left to right? Right to left? Centre? Upper or lower teeth first?

Do people actually enjoy reading philosophical texts or are they just saying it to look cool?

How do they name lipstick shades?

Why is it that you can never recreate the exact same photograph no matter how hard you try?

Do I really have a doppelgänger?

How do people walk in heels?

I like the idea of celebrating unbirthdays like they do in Disney’s Alice in Wonderland.

Why is it that when I don’t get enough sleep, I feel like crap all day and then when it’s bedtime, I’m full of energy?

I don’t understand how anyone can hate music.

Is pink a shade of red or its own colour?

It must be nice if we have a switch to turn off all our worries.

Why does junk food taste so good? Literally every single one of them.

Gosh, my cat pillow is so soft and cute.

I don’t understand why my mum deletes her phone messages and call history every day for fear that they are going to take up too much space.

I wish I could get my hands on that very first chocolate truffle with hazelnut filling that I had when I was a kid. My father used to buy them for me when he travelled for work.
