What You Can Do When You Are Low On Energy.

Energy ebbs and flows. We aren’t our best selves all the time unless we are a robot. What can we do when we wake up to a day of low energy?

I suffer from low energy from time to time. Energy functions like a wave. It has a peak and a trough, and the in-between is a journey.

Managing our low energy in the morning matters because it sets the tone of the day.

These are my Go-To’s when I need to get ready for a long day.

# 1 — I Walk Around. Fast.

Energy comes from action. When I am facing a time-crunch, I speed walk.

The fast movement and deep breathing clear the mental fog, allowing me to sharpen my thoughts.

# 2 — As Time Permits, I Run.

The toughest part is to start. When I want to start the day running, I make sure that my running shoes are placed at the doorstep the night before.

Typically, a 20-minute run will do the trick. Bathing under the morning Sun refreshes me. The beads of perspiration down my cheeks feel darn good too.

# 3 — I Scribble My Thoughts.

Is something disturbing you? Are you affected by something, and yet you couldn’t pinpoint what that is?

I have days like this. What I do is I scribble. The intention is to get to that issue. Many issues never appear in front of us the way they are.

It is amazing when we can see those issues in writing. Our energy levels will soar.

That is because we can finally work to resolve them.

How do you deal with your low energy days?

Be Blessed With High Energy!
