What Mr. Beast Taught Me About Being A Better Writer

Mr. Beast is a Youtuber who is known for spending millions of dollars making YouTube videos and giving away money and cars.
I was watching a video where two people were talking about Mr. Beast and his rise to fame, these are the biggest takeaways I learned to improve my writing.
One of them was the fact that he is doing things that I want to do.
The reason this is interesting is I have had this happen before. I have an idea and do nothing with it, shortly after I see someone else doing exactly what I wanted to do.
It has happened multiple times, why is that?
I think a lot and have good ideas, but I never execute.
Therefore, my thoughts are worthless.
This brings me to the next point, I need to do more with my life. I have dreams and plans to do so much with my life, yet my day-to-day actions don’t match my ambition.
What are some positives we can take away from this video?
They mentioned the fact that he makes different types of content and posts them on different social media sites.
This can be applied to writing as well.
For the first few months I was just writing on medium and that was it.
I have since started posting my articles to Linkedin and Pinterest because that is where my audience is.
The topics I write about are not business-related but they affect all aspects of life so I think Linkedin is where people go to learn and network.
On Pinterest, I take quotes from my writing that I think are interesting or insightful and make a Pinterest post with a link to the article.
There is so much content on so many platforms, if we just put out one thing it will get lost in the abyss.
We need to create content regularly and post it to as many places as we can, in as many ways as we can.
In the past, when I saw someone else doing the idea I had I became mad and jealous, now I have a different view.
It’s proof of concept.
Just because I think something is a good idea that doesn’t mean it’ll work in real life.
If I have an idea and someone else does it, then it’s possible.
I won’t be the first to do it and maybe not the best, but if I’m doing what I love and other people enjoy it too, that’s all that matters.
