In fact, it might speed up my <a href="https://readmedium.com/what-its-like-apartment-hunting-at-27-with-100k-in-student-loan-debt-8a976b7698f3">27-year-old version of House Hunters.</a></p><p id="dde1">But it happened, and I kind of just wanted to share with everyone that it is, in fact, a real thing.</p><p id="7fad">And that it can happen to you, too, at two in the morning.</p><h2 id="7c0e">Do I actually think they’re going by a certain system?</h2><p id="b2b3">No. I think it’s just going to happen at random!</p><p id="e40a">Someone I know who makes double what I do got theirs yesterday, so I’m not sure they are going by “who needs it first, gets it first” basis. I feel like I’m on some kind of game show, but with the United States Government instead of Ellen.

I have no idea why I was up at 2 A.M. this morning, but I was.

I was chatting with my brother, and all of the sudden, this notification popped up on my phone:

The mythical thing… appeared.

I don’t know why I didn’t think it would happen to me, but I sort of just figured it was like the Loch Ness monster. Everyone talks about it, but no one ever sees it — except for like five people who swear they have, so it keeps the legend alive.

However, this is real, not one of those bizarre joke screenshots that have been going around.

Disclaimer: I have never seen Nessie, but I haven’t been to Scotland yet either.
