Freedom Lifestyle
What if You Can Have the Freedom You Desire?
It’s in the definition you give it.

What if enjoying Freedom was simple? Maybe even easy?
The key to celebrating anything is to know what you want, and the best way to know it is to define it.
How do You Define Freedom
One of the most effective ways I know of defining something, I learned as a child growing up in India and Pakistan.
We used you to make it a game out of creating an acronym for our names. It was fun, and it improved our vocabulary because we tried to come up with different ones often. I recently did that for fun and to introduce myself to the community.
I know a couple of writers, Henery X (long) and Tim Maudlin, who enjoy creating acronyms and even use them in their businesses.
Why Do I Crave Freedom?
Since 2011, I have enjoyed what I call a Freedom Lifestyle.
I have even created a publication on Medium by that name and write there frequently.
I’ve decided to define the two words, Freedom and Lifestyle, by creating acronyms for them.
Here, I am defining FREEDOM. I will create another story for LIFESTYLE.
Flexibility. When I think of freedom, I think about having the ability to do the various things I am interested in. I like photography, travel, and spending alone time in nature. Enjoying these activities as often as possible is important to me. By being flexible, I can also avoid boredom. If I get tired of one thing, I can switch over to something else. The fun continues.
Reinvent. I have many interests. Not only is this true in my hobbies, but it is also true in my livelihood. Over the years, I have worked in and enjoyed many industries. I am an entrepreneur, and I keep reinventing myself from time to time. Your ability to reinvent yourself keeps you from depending on others for support.
Entrepreneurship. I have been a carpenter, a roofer, and a cab driver. I have worked as a restaurant manager, a flea marketer, and a professional speaker. A balloon artist, a photographer, and a writer; it’s all in a day’s work. Being your own boss is the key to enjoying freedom, even when you work for someone else, as I have many times.
Empowerment. Foremost, you must empower yourself if you want to enjoy freedom. You cannot give away your power and expect to live the way you want. What most people don’t realize is that genuine power comes from empowering others. When you empower others, you create true freedom in society. An empowered individual is never a burden on others.
Diversity. Contrary to what some people think, diversity is a strength. There is a verse in the Qur’an, that says, “Had God so willed, He could have made you all the same. He made you different, so you may learn from each other.” Not only is diversity important for society, but I have also found that cultivating diverse interests enables you to become a better human being.
Options. Life is full of options. The ability to choose the options that appeal to your enjoyment of life, that’s what freedom is all about. When your options become limited because of circumstances, or outside influences, it hampers your freedom, and life becomes unpleasant.
Money. It is a fact of modern life that allows you to enrich your experiences. Chris Rock says, “Being rich is not about having things; it is about having options.” Money enables you to make better choices by having more options. When people become greedy and pursue money for the sake of money, instead of what it can do for them, they lose their freedom and become a slave to money.
To Sum it Up
Freedom is the ability to stay Flexible and Reinvent yourself as needed by using Entrepreneurship to Empower yourself and others to Diversify and take advantage of all the Options that Money affords you.
How do you define freedom?
Create an acronym, write a poem, or be funny with a humorous piece. Let yourself shine and inspire others and remember to tag me so I can read it.
What say you, Kevin Buddaeus, Simran Kankas, Charlene Fate, Annelise Lords, René Junge, Salam Khan, Michele Thill, LauraRaduenz, P.G. Barnett, Kathryn A. LeRoy, Ph.D.?
