What I Get from Quora that I Don’t Get from Medium

Why is that I wonder

I started writing on Medium in August 2021. My views now total 153. I am not sure how Medium calculates these figures because I had seen over 200 views at one time but now, they continue to decrease. How exactly do you lose views?

I started writing on Quora on Sept. 25, 2022, fourteen days ago. I have 1000+ views.

I find I like writing on Quora because there is more interaction between readers. Not only that but your audience is there asking questions. You answer the questions that are in your field of knowledge. You get to grow your audience as you go.

My numbers have not crossed over into followers or paid subscriptions but that hasn’t happened on Medium either. On Quora, I have people requesting I answer their questions every day. I feel as though they are interested in what I have to say.
