The web content discusses Dynamic Resistance training, a low-impact, high-intensity muscle training method that involves visualizing opposing forces to create muscle tension and incorporates both muscle training and cardio benefits.
Abstract
The article titled "Fitness | Resistance Workout | How To Get Healthy" delves into the concept of Dynamic Resistance, a unique fitness training method that emphasizes mental visualization of resistance to enhance muscle training. It explains that this method, which can be akin to a combination of yoga and calisthenics, not only builds muscle tension but also increases heart rate by demanding more blood flow to the muscles, thus providing cardiovascular benefits. The author acknowledges the discipline and focus required for this workout, which has become a staple in their fitness routine alongside other forms of exercise. Additionally, the author shares that they write on diverse topics beyond fitness, including Family, Mindset, Lifestyle, and Humor, and invites readers to explore these writings.

What Exactly Is A “Dynamic Resistance” Workout?
What I will outline in the writing is a method of muscle training that is considered low impact but high intensity
Without getting to technical, Dynamic Resistance is a method of fitness training where you have to visualize some sort of opposing force on the muscle or muscle group you are working out.
For instance, say you want to raise your arm from you side. You can easily raise it, right? What if you “pretend” you are stuck in a mud pit? Now, you have to raise your hand by going through the mud. The thickness of the mud is whatever you make it. The thicker the mud, the harder it will be to raise your arm. Get it?
Here’s a video I did explaining Dynamic Resistance:
The whole idea to use Dynamic Resistance training has two parts. One is to, obviously, put tension and resistance on your muscles. The other one is to raise and lower your heart rate.
How is heart rate raised? Well, when tension is put on a muscle, that muscle requires more blood to work properly. To get more blood, the heart needs to beat faster; hence the heart rate is raised.
So, actually, if done correctly, not only will a Dynamic Resistance type of workout put tension on your muscle, it can be a form of cardio training as well.
But then the question comes up on how someone can incorporate this workout. I’ll be honest with you, it does take a LOT of discipline and a LOT of focus as well. It’s like a cross between yoga and calisthenics.
Personally, I enjoy this type of workout, it suits me just fine. Is Dynamic Resistance the only kind of workout I do? Nope, I do different workouts. I like to switch things up. But the DR workouts are now a permanent part of my health and fitness life!
