Not only did Kim Kardashian wear the Marilyn Monroe dress, but she also admitted that she lost 16 pounds in 3 weeks all because she wanted to fit in the Marilyn Monroe dress.

In a recent interview with the Today Show, she claims that she has lost 21 pounds in total since her controversial Met Gala appearance with her new beau 27-year-old Pete Davidson.

Celebrities lose weight all the time, from Will Smith who lost 20 pounds, a journey that was well-supported by his fans to Adele and Rebel Wilson.

When she spoke to Today hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, she revealed her secret to losing 21 pounds.

Like many in their 40s, it is quite hard to stay fit especially after what we all went through during the pandemic, there is no shame in getting comfort from food.

I did, and the twenty pounds I lost are back.

But losing 16 pounds in 3 weeks is that possible and safe? If you believe in Kim Kardashian's personal trainer, then it is possible and safe.

Again, one of the things that we normal people should put into our heads when we read celebrity weight loss stories is that they have access to the very best fitness trainers and nutritionists.

In other words, they can pay a team of people to assist them, something many of us can never afford for ourselves but that shouldn’t stop us from trying to be healthy and if that includes losing weight then it all starts by consulting a doctor.

Here is what her personal trainer had to say about the controversy.

“I think one of the misconceptions about Kim is that she works really hard, so I was there through the process,” he explained. “So, it wasn’t like she was starving herself; she’s been on a balanced diet; at times, she wouldn’t eat as much; but the second thing is she really put in the work.”

When asked if there was anything unhealthy about Kardashian’s weight loss, Don said, “Not at all. Not from what I saw. We were working out sometimes twice a day.”

What losing 21 pounds looks like

While she was criticized even by Bob Mackie the one who sketched the dress, he said it was a big mistake and that no other person should have worn the iconic dress except for Marilyn Monroe, she did it anyway, she knew that the controversy it will create will come in handy as she launches her new SKKN skincare products.

What is the zero-carb diet?

Kim Kardashian said she cut off the carbs and sugars in her diet. She stopped eating junk food and fried food.

Did she do the zero-carb diet? If what Healthline said on their website, she sure did.

What exactly is a no-carb diet? A no-carb diet is a way of eating that excludes as many digestible carbs as possible.

Carbohydrates are the primary source of energy in your body. Grains, beans, legumes, fruits, vegetables, milk, yogurt, pasta, bread, and baked goods all contain them.

As a result, someone on a no-carb diet must avoid most of these foods in favor of those high in protein or fat, such as meats, fish, eggs, cheese, oils, and butter, etc., which limits your carb intake to less than 30 grams per day and encourages you to get 70% or more of your daily calories from fat. — Healthline.

When Kim Kardashian says something, it becomes news — Look at how she berated women in business when she said;

There is too much hubris in that statement.
