This lockdown period answered my many hidden questions; did you wisely use it?

The start of the day with predetermined steps Getting ready for the job Taking a commute
Laughing and smiling as we proceed The day filled with cases Sometimes the lunchtime would shift to 5 or 6
The hectic days with lightheartedness I missed the natural proceedings as the day sets
The chirping in the morning Gradually transmuting into the mighty afternoon The quiet evening as it slides giving way to the silent nights
The usual was fun too working with fun-filled giggles what I missed the most were the evenings
Somewhere, I knew COVID was around and could grip the nation through silent paws
Never knowing that it would change so much Striding through the usual busyness
The work stopped the commute halted the earnings dwindled the interactions interrupted
I am not new to the aloneness I enjoy the solitude since I remember I connected with nature My evening walks, oh, I was back
Enjoying lying down under the vast sky The pollution evaporated as if there was none Stars were clear as humans holed up
The hobby I enjoyed most was revealing the direction Scribbling more often giving way to the new horizons
The freedom of working hours the joy of pouring out the heart the love immortalizing in texts the creativity taking its form
Without the lockdown, I may have never ventured into uncharted territories I’d have missed the satisfaction of expressing the authenticity
What was once behind the closed doors Now words slipping through the ajar from locked diaries to the keyboard No more hiding Love sliding with life’s flow
I realized words have the immense power It can transport the love across 5 oceans An open heart can act as a transmitter Receiving and broadcasting the love signal
Creativity is one door to the portal of loving self Wormhole connecting the infinite distances Operating through the heart brings oneself nearer to the divine
With no prejudices, no judgments accepting self and expressing that one love that encompasses all and within every heart
The time to contemplate is now Nature gave us that complimentary time to find the immortal treasures within
Either man can go on fearing what lies ahead or it can ponder on the invaluable lesson Life is unpredictable every being is heading to be laid to rest
The priceless question that arises: Are you here for the riches that will transform into dust sooner or later Or are you ready to unearth the eternal gift that is bestowed within every heart
