WRITING PROMPT

Starlight’s Glow — “Expressing Positive Changes Emerging After Our Lives Were Disconnected Physically from Our Pre-Covid-19 Lifestyles”

Blue Insights Cultural Prompts — January 2021

Maii, 2020–12–30

Starting 2021, Blue Insights’ monthly writing ‘Cultural Prompts’ will offer our Medium community to be featured within our new digital ‘Blue Insights Magazine’. The magazine’s volumes will group different thematic issues that will feature our talented writers’ voices based on our monthly Cultural Prompts.

The theme for the first issue will be ‘Starlight’s Glow’ which will be a poetry collective where writers and artists will be expressing their very own positive changes which emerged after their lives were disconnected physically from their pre-Covid-19 lifestyles.

We are fully aware, that this pandemic is not over yet. It will certainly continue to disrupt our lives for a good part of 2021. We have deliberately chosen our theme to link us back to our ongoing daily lock down reality.

We strongly think that we can still extract and share our positive experiences from it. Yes, all of our lives were disrupted more than ever, and probably for a long time, not to mention all the unfortunate deaths.

We would like to express our sincere sympathies to all the families and close friends of people who have passed away due to Covid-19.

Despite all this unavoidable sadness, many people were able to realize during their months of forced isolation, what really were their most important priorities in life. Many realized that they were quite ‘richer’ than they thought.

Poetically share newly underestimated positivity born during the pandemic which allowed you to survive through the 2020.

Throughout the month of January 2021, express yourself poetically, by submitting original and never published contributions, presenting your experienced positivity emerging within your newly post-covid-19 lives.

During the month, each author can submit a total of three poems choosing their own poetry style. The best 25 will be selected for the digital magazine.

The Cultural Prompt for January 2021:

“Expressing Positive Changes Emerging After Our Lives Were Disconnected Physically from Our Pre-Covid-19 Lifestyles”

At the bottom of your contributions, please be sure to include a link to this prompt as well as our prompts three mandatory tags: ‘Blue Insights’, ‘Cultural Prompt’, and ‘Writing Prompts’.

Outstanding contributions sparkled in our “Cultural Prompts — December 2020” — “ What Does December Mean to You?”…. Congrats!!!
