Full of Love, Happiness in the Lap of Laziness

From cold weather to cheerful celebrations, all is love.

The transition of the pleasant weather to bone stabbing wintry mornings The natural icy cold water in the taps The needle poking winds piercing the skin The haze, the blurriness of fog

The chilly winds anesthetizing the nose The war of warm winds from the mouth The sneakiness of cold foot touching the warm one The naughtiness of playing with frosty limbs

December means enjoying the warmth of the sun Lying on the terrace, Greedily soaking the sun’s radiance Relishing the oranges dipped in salt The get-together of the family in the lethargic warm noon

At night inside the cozy quilt The laziness creeping the excuse for not waking up early The short days with the early sunset lazing around in the sun December goes so quickly in all its naughtiness

A child springs once again In the body of an adult Playing and laughing at the silliness Not shying away from the usual or uniqueness

Around the dazzling festive season of Christmas, The sparkling beauty of houses and markets The aroma of the delicious snacks Salivating and getting ready for lip-smacking meals

Gulping down greedily As and when they arrive The charm of December does not yet wear out

The New year around the corner comes hanging at the tail of Christmas Replenishing the old tattered, broken promises Thankfully, I never made those to myself

The forceful waking till the midnight Gone are the days when I used to stay up Enjoying as the day or the year comes Renewing itself Rejuvenation in its own shining bask!
