Summary

The website content provides a content creation template centered around the concept of "laws" within a niche to engage audiences and increase opt-ins.

Abstract

The article emphasizes the effectiveness of creating content based on the "laws" of a specific topic to intrigue prospects and enhance credibility. It outlines a five-step process for content creators: selecting a niche topic, crafting an odd number of laws (preferably 3, 5, or 7), listing each law with a title, describing the implementation of each law, and inviting readers to an opt-in page for more information. The psychology behind this approach is twofold: it taps into human curiosity about definitive rules within a field and positions the content creator as an expert, thereby increasing the likelihood of audience engagement and list building.

What are the “Laws” for Your Topic?

A Fast & Simple Content Creation Template for Every Content Creator

Another great way to increase your opt ins is to create content about “laws” in your niche.

And I’m guessing wanting to increase your audience is one of the reasons you’re here, right?

There’s some powerful psychology behind this template. The psychology behind this comes in 2 parts:

Part 1: It’s human nature to be intrigued by the “laws” of a topic. Your prospects want to know the truth as you see it.

Part 2: I’ll get to this at the end of this column…

But first, here’s how you create this kind of content (blog post, article, column, podcast, video, info-graphic, meme, etc.)

Creating Your Laws

Step 1 — Choose a topic in your niche. I’ve found the more specific the topic the more eyeballs it attracts. I know that sounds a little “counter-intuitive” but it works.

Step 2 — Create 3, 5, or 7 (Odd numbers work better, trust me) tips around your topic in the form of “laws.”

Step 3 — List each one of the laws — for example, “The Law of Titles” — “The Law of Beginning” — you get the idea.

Keeping it under seven is best. If you create more, save them for later.

Step 4 — Describe each law and how to implement it for your topic. Step 5 — Invite your prospects to take their next success step by inviting them to get more information from you, and invite them to your opt-in page.

Remember the beginning of this article and the 2 part psychology behind using this content template and creating this kind of content?

Well, here’s part 2:

Remember the Promised Part 2?: Offering the “laws” of a topic in your niche increases your credibility and perceived expertise and makes your prospect much more likely to opt in to get more good stuff from you…
