Weekly Prompts July 4–10, 2022
Your weekly dose of writing prompts
Hello, my lovelies and welcome to your Weekly Writing Prompts for the first week of July 2022. We’re going to keep this party rolling, just on my personal site, Enticing the Muse. I’m very excited about this as it was always my intention to make this site a place to find writing prompts.
And because I’ve already had so many people wanting to know about submitting their prompt responses, I’ve created a publication just for that purpose. Introducing Amusing Responses. A new home for those who create works based on various writing prompts.
My initial intent was to only house the responses from the prompts on this site, but that wouldn’t be fair. I support all prompt creators and will welcome pieces created from any prompt post. Check out the guidelines for full details.
You’ll also notice that we’re starting our weekly lists on a new day. I’ve decided to have the new lists come out on Mondays, giving me time to create the posts over the weekends and out in a timely manner.
So, here we go, kids. Let’s start this week out with a bang, and not just the ones that will be shot off throughout the United States tonight. Happy 4th y’all. And get those creative juices flowing.

And there you have it. This week’s writing prompts for you to use to your little heart’s content. I hope you find something to inspire your muse and create works of magic.
If you publish something, please be sure to tag me (@sapheyerblu) so I can come to check it out. Also, add a link back to this post so others can stop by and get some inspiration. I’d greatly appreciate it.
I want to thank everyone who’s offered me words of encouragement and excitement over this idea. I do what I do in hopes of inspiring at least one other person in this world. I always feel as though I’m doing something wonderful.
So, until next week, Happy writing!!!
