Weekly Prompts August 8–14, 2022
Your weekly dose of writing prompts
Hello, my beautiful babies. I AM ON VACATION!!!! Yes, my lovelies, it’s official. I don’t have to go back to work until the 22nd of August and I am FREAKING OUT. LOL, seriously. I’m already having heart palpitations thinking about not going to work. It’s that whole “playing hooky from school” feeling.
The next couple of weeks are going to be very busy for me. I will be popping in from time to time, but it won’t be as often. Once the next couple of weeks are over, things will go back to normal. Well, as normal as things are around here.
Okay, warriors, let’s get this party started. I give you this week’s writing prompts. Jump in, have fun, and get those creative juices flowing. Remember, these prompts can be used in any way, shape, or form you see fit.

If you need a home to publish your prompt responses, check out our sister site, Amusing Responses. We accept responses to any writing prompt, not just ours. We also accept pieces inspired by other articles written around the platform as long as they’re not a “post bash” piece. All we ask is that you use either the “Fiction”, “Poetry”, or “Creative Nonfiction” tags and leave a link back to the original post and tag the post’s author.
I want to thank you all for stopping by week after week for a dose of inspiration. You’re stories inspire me to keep coming up with new ideas. And as I’ve always said, some of my ideas are very good, others make me wonder how I manage to tie my own shoes.
Have fun and get inspired. I’m proud of each and every one of you. You make my job so much fun.
Until next time, Happy Writing!!!
