Weekly Haiku Roundup #005
The latest 5–7–5 in town.
This roundup successfully marks the completion of a whole month! On the 1st of January, I decided to go on this journey, and I have to say, it’s been very impactful, just finding the theme, time, and temperament to post one poem every day.
I hope my latest week of Haiku will take you on a journey of reflection, and relatability!
So, just as this series goes, here’s this week’s line-up! If you’d like to read my take or reflections on the individual Haiku, please head to the end of the article, where I have linked them!
And, if you find this writing to your liking, I also invite you to keep an eye out for updates in the dedicated space I have created for my Haiku (Haiku By Day)
Haiku 29: Reason
Act unfolds in sight,
Instinct seeks the hidden tale,
Truth, myth, or just fear.
Haiku 30: Threshold
The summer bird flies,
A last look at its first nest,
A world to take on.
Haiku 31: Patience
Slow, yet powerful,
Elephant strolls the land,
Silent leviathan.
Haiku 32: Compassion
A small act speaks loud,
Stroll, talk, give, smile, contribute,
A world of help.
Haiku 33: Effort
Canyon of rocks,
Remains of mountains eroded,
An unyielding river.
Haiku 34: Success
A silent morning,
The midnight oil burnt,
Success whispers soft.
Haiku 35: Courage
Pushed back to the wall,
The world scorning at his life,
Stands unflinching.
