We believe videos more than people
Sounds true. Because it is.
The era is changing. Currently, we are living in the era of information, or should I say the age of information, because the information is more valuable than gold today.
We all know this because the information is channelled through everything. From our basic phones to quantum computers, all are processing raw information.
All this information is nothing else but data analysis of the lives of people, which includes all of us. And, we are all well aware of this, but we can’t do anything about it because this information is not just our data, it is also the source of our livelihood.
And there are so many types of information channels, blogs, websites, podcasts, and videos.
Today I am going to talk about videos.
Why do people believe videos more than real people?
As we all know, different times have different channels of information. In historical times, people used to believe in mouth-to-mouth conversation because there were no free channels like today.
People began to believe the books and radios after that. And today we have all the information channels.
Out of all these channels, the most important one is “videos”. Every day, 720,000 hours of video are uploaded on YouTube. And it’s not just YouTube for videos; we also have Instagram, Facebook, Tic Tok, and hundreds and thousands of websites containing millions of videos.
All these videos are of different genres and serve different purposes. That includes daily news, education, and other forms of videos.
So we have all kinds of videos circulating all over the world. And people learn from these videos and apply those things in their lives.
But sometimes these videos are not real because sometimes kids make these videos and they haven’t experienced a thing in their lives. I am not implying that all videos are not important, but sometimes we need to use our senses before believing anything we see in these videos.
Because videos are used for both good and evil purposes. Sometimes videos are edited and misused. Sometimes they are used to spread misinformation around the world for various other purposes.
So we all need to keep this in mind: whatever we are reading and watching is either solid or just false information. Because if we keep believing false information, this world is never going to be a better place.
It will always be a chaotic place, and people will always gravitate toward each other based on the differences they have created for themselves, believing that God has created those differences.
Our entire history is about hatred and differences based on caste, creed, and gender, and people who believe in history also believe in differences. And those differences are causing all the misfortune in this world.
Weapons that we have created, one day we are going to use them on each other, and that’s the ultimate truth. Because we’ve not created them to keep them in museums. lol.
Weapons are not showpieces, they are for action, and those actions are going to cost a lot of lives. And this is going to happen only because of the misinformation that we consume daily through different video platforms.
Not only that, while I am writing this article, there are people who are planning horrible things for this world based on their assumptions and differences.
They are circulating videos of religious hatred and promoting their agendas through those videos.
I know we all know that, but still, we may end up believing these agendas and sometimes become part of those agendas by sharing those kinds of videos and liking them.
Why do we do that?
Because of our insecurities.
Today, we live in a world that is full of differences and every single person on this planet is already categorised in one or another way. And these differences are so great that they make all of us judge each other.
Like, sometimes they make us choose particular communities, and sometimes they make us choose evil over humanity. And it’s a fact that you, me, and no one can deny.
All the differences that we have created or followed are the reasons for our separation from each other. Even our relationships are affected by these differences. Nevertheless, in the 21st century, people still believe in caste and creed. Because they are consuming videos that suggest similar things.
People discriminate all the time. They consider other people lower than them, and it’s very prevalent in many countries today. Based on these differences, people are killing, raping, and doing horrible things to each other.
Not just that, there is one more thing that happens because of differences! War.
Is there any way to stop these things?
No way, because we don’t have the power to make people understand how this world works and how we are all important to each other in one way or another.
Still, we have got one chance if we want to make this world a better place, and that’s through videos and information channels.
Furthermore, we all need to understand that every piece of information we get from videos is not true, even the news is not true sometimes. Because they are censored by people who control news channels.
All those people who control the powers in this world always spread misinformation in this world, no matter what era it is. They always do that, because that’s how they get control over people’s minds by spreading fear and creating differences.
So all of us should start realising that everything we hear and read is not always true if we want peace.
Conclusion:
It’s time to wake up and we need to make better relations with each other so that we can provide good things for this world and our future generations.
If we keep fighting because of our differences, we are never going to be peaceful and this world is never going to be a better place.
So it’s better to choose humanity as a religion before it’s too late. And stop relying on videos for everything, because today we are ignoring real people and watching videos.
Because our next generation is not going to come out of a cell phone. It is still going to happen the old way. lol. I guess you got it.
