We all need ways to express ourselves

Your thoughts, feelings, and ideas deserve to be heard

Before I started writing, I severely underestimated how much I needed it. It is not only its cathartic proprieties but also how much it helps me make order out of the chaos that roars in my mind.

Any person loves to be heard and understood.

Unfortunately, we don’t always find the right words to express how we feel, leading to frustration, misunderstandings, and sometimes even despair.

This problem also impacts significantly people who suffer from mental disorders. They struggle to talk about their feelings and articulate what troubles them.

Expressing yourself can help you with that because it gives a clear voice to your thoughts.

Making order out of chaos

In just a single day we might have hundreds or thousands of thoughts. We might also go through a lot of different feelings.

We make sense of them through language and meaning. Expressing them to other people brings clarity.

There are many ways to express our feelings, whether is through art, music, or writing it brings the same level of clarity and meaning to them.

For example, I had a nice walk in the first at some point this spring, and even though I knew I liked it, I could really put in simple words why I did. I decided to write a story about it, and I managed to capture a little bit of how I felt. It also made me understand why I should explore nature more often.

Trying to make express and make sense of the chaos inside you is a fantastic way to give meaning and sense to what you feel, and also you might bring value to other people in the process.

I believe that the capacity to clearly express how you feel about something it is something extremely valuable.

It lets share your sorrow and happiness with others and brings out to light your deeply buried inner self.

We don’t really know who we are, the nature of consciousness is a complete mystery. Articulating and giving voice to our feelings and thoughts is a way to understand ourselves and others.

That’s why it is important to not let your burning feelings and brilliant thoughts be buried inside you. Let them out, and contribute to the engine of novelty creation that is this world.

You’ll find yourself, you’ll find meaning, and possibly help some people along the process.
