If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you committed to doing yoga every day for a year as part of your morning routine, you’re in luck.
In this blog, I share my personal experience and the results that came with it. From physical changes to mental benefits, I’ll give you an honest look at what it was like to do yoga every day for a year.
It all began with the desire to establish a morning routine that would provide me with more energy. So I discovered yoga and practiced it every day for a little over a year.
Physical changes
Yoga definitely enhances flexibility.
I have noticed that yoga improves my fitness and reduces my clumsiness.
Mental benefits
Having dedicated time for yoga in the morning helps reduce stress.
After practicing yoga, my concentration and focus improve because I felt less tired.
Sometimes I get new ideas during yoga that I want to pursue.
Challenges and obstacles
You may struggle with certain exercises, but with time, you become more accustomed to them.
Maintaining motivation can be challenging. If you miss a day of yoga, make sure to resume the next day.
I prefer doing yoga in the morning as it helps me feel more awake, eliminating the need to do it later in the day.
Conclusion
Reflecting on my year-long journey of practicing yoga every day. I can say that it has been a transformative experience. Not only have I observed significant physical changes, such as increased flexibility and strength. I have also enjoyed many mental benefits.
Yoga has helped me reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and concentration, and cultivate mindfulness and self-awareness. Overcoming challenges like physical limitations and staying motivated was not easy, but the rewards were well worth it.
I will continue with doing yoga everyday for a few minutes in my morning routine.
