This is our last weekly prompt in Dancing Elephants Press. We began this journey 52 weeks ago. Our first prompt on 10/02/2022 was all about Music. It has been a wonderful journey. We truly enjoyed all the amazing responses we received. We created a beautiful book “ The Joy of Life” together from 3 of the prompts with 11 amazing authors from Medium.

If you have missed any of our 52-week prompts it is still time to go back and enter a response. You can find our prompts under our 52-week live book on Dancing Elephants Press main page. This project is ending and it is time to walk down that memory lane.

🐘🐘Going Back to Memories — Your Prompt🐘🐘

If you think about the past years of your life what has been memorable for you?

Now, Let your imagination work for you. Close your eyes and think about the sweetest and most beautiful Memory….

What is the first memorable experience that jumps out at you?

I love trees. One of the most memorable occasions for me was visiting the California Redwoods in Humbolt County with family and seeing majestic trees. I loved everything about our trip. The trip was filled with love and joy. Beautiful memories. Touching a giant tree was beyond any imagination and it is a memory that is deeply embedded in my heart.

I wrote about these amazing trees last year, a poem that ends this way:

“I close my eyes and open my heart, Remember the scent of the evergreen land. My love for you is forever standing. Giants of the sky. Love you with all of my beings.”

I still feel the same. These trees just fill my heart. You can read the whole poem below:

I feel great being close to majestic trees, there is something beautiful and grounding for me to be in the presence of so much beauty. I love these trees with all my heart. They are family to me. I feel a great gravitation towards them. I hope I can go back soon and see them again.
