NEIGHBOR | LIFE LESSONS | COMMUNITY
Wake Up, Neighbor!
We’re All One And The Same.

In response to his thoughtful story Wake Up!, Henery X (long) encouraged me to contribute my ideas. I am not as gifted with the pen as Henery, but what I offer to you is just as heartfelt.
I’ve introduced myself to many of you with the phrase “Hi Neighbor.” With all of the turmoil in the world, I sincerely believe if we were more “neighborly” to one another, this world would be a much better place.
So with that introduction, let’s consider One Another with the ACRONYM story NEIGHBOR.
N EED: We NEED One Another.
Do you realize how much we need one another? We need to connect, we need to listen, and we need to be a contributing neighbor of our global community.
ENCOURAGE One Another.
Let’s purpose to build one another up. A kind word or a simple act of kindness will bridge divides. How can you encourage one another today?
I LLUMINATE One Another
Look for the best in one another. One way to encourage one another is to shine the light or illuminate their best qualities.
GRACE: Show Grace to One Another
Think back to a time when someone showed grace to you? How did it make you feel? We all need grace. Be a grace giver to one another.
HEAL One Another’s Hearts
Kind words coupled with grace and empathy will promote healing in one another’s broken hearts.
BE There for One Another
Know the needs of one another so that you can be there. How is this accomplished? Communication. We must talk to one another.
OFFER Prayers for One Another
Speaking from personal experience, I find it comforting when someone tells me they are praying for me. Can we do that for one another? I believe so.
REGARD One Another
Regard one another more important than yourself. Wouldn’t be wonderful if we set aside pride and looked out for one another over personal desires.
Daily Doable: I can’t say it better than Jesus did in Matthew 7:12. “ … treat people the same way you want them to treat you.” Simple but powerful. #DoWhatYouCanNow

This Inspire Point was brought to you by Tim Maudlin. Please allow me to introduce myself.
