Voices of Silence

Hataciku Poem

VOICES OF SILENCE

when silence speaks

with words in the wind above

and sea waves below

.

words without their sound

as true friend sharing seasons

of joy and of pain

in solitude meditate

with pure speech and meaning

.

silence understands

beyond deep stoic words

strung by endless love

A Hataciku poem consists of 65 syllables written without punctuation in 3 stanzas as 11 lines of phrase arranged in the pattern sequence of 5–7–5–5–7–5–7–7–5–7–5 = 65 syllables. Invented by the Author.
