Scrum
Visual Illustration — Scrum in a Nutshell
One-page illustration of the Scrum framework
As many say, Scrum is easy to understand, but difficult to master.

What is Scrum?
According to Scrum.org, Scrum is a lightweight framework that helps people, teams and organisations generate value through adaptive solutions for complex problems.
It is a framework where people can address complex adaptive problems (e.g., software product development) while productively (removing impediments & creating focus) and creatively (with quicker feedback loops) delivering products of the highest possible value (definition of value is important, and is different to teams).
After years of practising Scrum with various teams in different organisations, one thing that stands in common for me is the lack of shared understanding.

Using the above links as a reference, I have illustrated a one-page visual to help you remember the key points. If you are preparing for the exam or practising at work, here’s the visual to download for FREE and personal use only.

So before we talk more about Scrum, I urge you to go back to the basics and read the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto with the people you work with and find your WHY. As Simon Sinek says, “START WITH WHY”.
If you loved this article, how about sharing it with your friends and colleagues too? Please tag my illustrations with due credits, it takes a lot of learning and effort to make such complex theories look simple.
