Violator
A Poem
I want to burn the steps on which you sat, the door you pounded the lies you told,
to get what you wanted - regardless of who had to pay the cost of your tantrum
the pounding for hours the anxiety the fear,
the cost of you always acting as if you are above the law, above morality and god,
the cost of you not caring about your consequences that fill my daughters mind and body,
like shrapnel like shards of glass like a thousand tiny cuts —
that will all release in full fury — towards you, flying —
as she grows and learns, as she realizes and begins to pull them out for herself .
You are the rope you hang by. You are the gashes caused by your own knives . You are your own undoing.
The pain and trauma you inflict, constantly mentally emotionally - will come to meet you in the end.
