Victor Orban Says the Quiet Part Out Loud About Trump’s Plans….

Trump tells Orban he will cut off Ukraine funding if elected!

As many of us who care about Ukraine, our guess on how Donald Trump sees himself ending the Ukraine War in a single day is to hand the country on a silver platter over to Vladimir Putin.

Trump allegedly told Victor Orban in a closed-door meeting that once elected, he would cut off financial and military funding to Ukraine. Many of us are not surprised this was his plan all along. Trump has an affinity for aligning with dictators as displayed during his first term in office when he met with North Korea’s Leader, Kim Jong Un multiple times and sided with Vladimir Putin on Russian election interference.

Orban’s quote to his state media according to Reuter’s was as follows:

“He will not give a penny into the Ukraine-Russia war and therefore the war will end,” Orban told state television late on Sunday. “As it is obvious that Ukraine on its own cannot stand on its feet.”

“If the Americans do not give money and weapons, and also the Europeans, then this war will be over. And if the Americans do not give money the Europeans are unable to finance this war on their own, and then the war will end.”

However, for Trump to be so open and honest about how he would end the War in Ukraine, either suggests hubris in believing this is what a majority of Americans want or a serious miscalculation in his reelection bid. Another possible theory is with the numerous pending court cases, Trump has become so unhinged that he doesn’t care about what the majority of American people want.

Based on a poll taken in February 2024 of Americans reported on the Hill, a majority, 60%, feel the U.S. is supporting Ukraine by the right amount or too little.

The survey, published by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, found that overall, 37 percent of Americans believe the U.S. is spending too much money on aid to Ukraine. Roughly 33 percent said the amount of aid was “about right,” and 27 percent said it was too little.

According to this same survey, the support for Ukraine falls along party lines with a majority of Democrats and Independents in favor of continued support for Ukraine but Republican majorities against further aid for Ukraine.

However, Trump will not win an election with only Republican voters. He will need Independents as well to beat Joe Biden in November.

If Trump wins and cuts off Ukraine aid leading to Ukraine falling to Russia, which NATO country will be next? Could it be Latvia that has a significant Russian population needing to be protected? Could it be Poland for payback because of Poland’s unconditional support for Ukraine in the war so far?

What will China think about American weakness if Trump turns his back on Ukraine and Russia wins? What will keep Xi from invading Taiwan next seeing how Trump cares not to protect our allies?

How many more wars could happen around the world if Trump abandons Ukraine because of his amour of foreign dictators?

There’s now considerable evidence that Hitler could have been stopped if Britain and France had not let him remilitarize the Rhineland, and annex Austria, and Czechoslovakia in failed policies of appeasement. Hitler’s access to the cash and industrial complexes in Austria and Czechoslovakia was integral to Germany’s production of armaments necessary to start and fight WWII successfully.

The War that followed led to the deaths of between 70–85 million people, cost more than a trillion dollars, led to 22 million refugees in Europe alone, and raised many cities across Europe and Asia.

Understanding Americans tend to vote according to our pocketbooks and domestic issues, I see the instability internationally as domestic and pocketbook issues for all Americans!

If Trump lets Ukraine fall, China then invades Taiwan and Russia moves in on another Eastern European nation, it will mean the U.S. will need to spend more money on more foreign wars and even send American troops to protect our interests abroad. We cannot bury our heads in isolationism as we did with Britain and France before we were finally dragged into WWII.

A war in Taiwan or an Eastern NATO country will eventually come to our shores. The United States has too many military assets abroad to not eventually be targeted. We should be looking for ways to prevent another Pearl Harbor, not walking blindly again toward one.

Voting for Trump based on his isolationist policies is just a DUMB idea that will lead to Americans paying more later as a result.

The old adage, “pay me now or pay me more later” could not be more applicable than at a time like this.

Is Trump’s calculation to come out against Ukraine and NATO funding a smart re-election campaign strategy or will it hurt him in the general election?

Will a vote for Trump mean an eventual WWIII?

What are your thoughts?
