Vegetables — Wonders of Joy
My Love for Veggies

Vegetables are magic that the universe gave us to make life more colourful and tasteful.
It is one of those little wonders of life that fills my life. Since I was a kid, I've always enjoyed strolling through the vegetable market and buying different vegetables.
When I look at the vast quantities of vegetables that people come to buy, it fills me with wonder.
So much effort from different human beings has been put into growing this food and land in this market.
Someone somewhere used seeds to plant them and took care of those plants till they grew up.
They watered the plant and gave it everything necessary to survive, protecting it from birds and insects.

It took months or a few weeks for them to grow and be ready to harvest.
Once they were ready for harvest, someone bought those and got them to different cities and finally to the Vegetable shop.
Only then could I buy from the shopkeeper and bring it home to cook and have a good meal.
As a child, my mom always trained me never to waste food. Even now, I make sure I never waste food. One of the reasons I can save food is also this.
So much effort has been made to grow food and different vegetables. How can I ever waste them?
My heart never allows me to waste them.
Even if they don't taste great, I ensure it's on my plate.
Colours of Vegetables

Vegetables add colour to life. Green Leafy Vegetables, Red, Orange Tomatoes or Purple Onions and Potatoes. Even while I write this, it makes me smile.
I love each of them; together with Garlic and Ginger and some spices, they make beautiful meals.
I cannot choose my favourite vegetable because each brings a different taste.
Each taste and flavour makes life more colourful and pleasant, not to mention the enormous health benefits they provide.

Each vegetable contains different vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that help us be more immune to diseases and make us feel healthier and happier.
Eating vegetables daily and healthily also helps lower the risks of chorionic diseases, including blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer.
Vegetables also are more eco-friendly. They can provide more food for humans and consume less water and land than raising animals.
It makes me grateful that I can eat such beautiful vegetables every day. They help me remain happy, healthy and grateful.
My love for vegetables grows from their wonderous taste, nutritional value, and environmental benefits. Eating various vegetables is not only delicious, but it’s also a way to take care of my health and the planet.
Happy fresh veggies day!
