As their new Ford Mustang raced down the deserted highway, Lauren’s heart hammered against her ribcage.

She glanced nervously at the GPS, which showed their destination as a mere mile away.

Suddenly, a figure loomed in the headlights, causing her to swerve violently.

They crashed into the median, the impact inflating the airbags and bringing Lauren and her husband into chaos.

Disoriented, they stumbled out, only to find the road empty.

No trace remained of the mysterious figure.
