A Reflection on Perceived Inadequacies
How do I look today? Do you think I look pretty Do you think I’ve gained weight
How do you like my dress? Is it the right color Is it on straight
How do you like my voice? Do you think it’s too cutesy Do you think it’s too loud
How do you like my smile? Do I look too awkward Do I look too proud
How do you like my laugh? Do I laugh too hard Do I laugh too rough
How do you like me? Am I funny enough Am I smart enough
What can I do differently? Just tell me and I’ll do it I can be perfect I just know it
Thank you for reading my poem. I’d love to hear your opinions.
I am a writer and an editor. I mainly edit Fiction, and I specialize in Romance. I write a little bit of everything, whatever is on my mind at the moment.
