Vagabond Roads: My First Prompt for You

Photo by Dino Reichmuth on Unsplash

Vagabond Roads was a publication that I originally created for homeless poems and other literary works about the journey of life, of being a writer, of being human. I have been putting some fresh poetry there as well, and yesterday I had my first VR Curation!

The downside is it is getting lonesome on this road. So I am setting up my first prompt for Medium members.

Write a poem or literary prose (5 minutes or less) based on a comment you received or one you gave to another writer. This prompt will remain active through at least November. I have applied the prompt in this poem.

If you wrote the comment, provide a link to the writer’s original work if possible. If the comment accuses the writer of foul play, however, it may be cause for rejection. It’s not the place for war drama. It’s just one more way to support one another. I will also promote your friendlink on Facebook and Twitter.

To be added as a writer, respond in the comments and I will add you.

Tag your submission prompt as well as Poetry, Fiction, or Nonfiction as appropriate.

Use an appropriate credited image

Reference the comment using alternate text, such as bold, italics, or pull quotes.

For poetry, please single space if possible. You can write in a plain text document and paste in or press enter +shift if you are writing in Medium. I will convert as necessary.

I look forward to adding writers and exploring the roads that inspire you!
