US Senate Candidate Panders to Black Voters By Smoking Weed
Black people don’t care about some damn weed. Foundational Black Americans need specific tangibles and resources.

The Democratic Politicians are out here once again pandering to Black people. Some of the local Democratic politicians are pulling one of their old worn-out tricks to get the Black vote by making themselves look hip.
Gary Chambers Jr., a United States Senate candidate from Louisiana, recently released an ad where he’s smoking some weed.
Do you know how desperate that is? This is pure desperation. Black folks do not give a damn about any weed. You see, when it comes to us, it becomes all of this gutter pandering and lowbrow nonsense — forget about what we’re asking for, we’re asking for historic tangibles that are due to us. And they’re like “No, no nigga. Let’s bring out some barbeque pork ribs, collard greens, and cornbread. Let’s break out the blunts, let’s break out the music, and let’s all do the dougie.” Newsflash Democrats, we’re not trying to do the symbolism thing anymore, we’re going to need some tangibles if you want us to support these candidates.
I’m extremely proud and happy at the fact that more and more Black people are getting on code and not falling for the symbolism trick that these politicians, especially the Democrats, love to pull on us. Just like how they thought by putting our beloved Foundational Black American ancestor, Maya Angelou, on the back of a quarter next to George Washington, the First President of the United States and slave master, was going to satisfy us — we don’t care.
So Black folks, continue to stay on code with these Democrats and Republicans. If they are not going to ride for us, we don’t need to ride for them. It’s just that simple because I refuse to drive to the nearest voting center to help put people in these seats that are not going to provide specific tangibles — like reparations — to my community.
