Summary

The narrative follows a protagonist aiding Helga and Robbie to an abandoned cottage for safety amidst a quest for vengeance.

Abstract

In the second story arc titled "Seek and Avvenge," the protagonist is part of an interactive tale where choices shape the narrative. After the events of "The Burned Village," the protagonist decides to escort Helga and Robbie to a secure location, an abandoned cottage found during their travels. The couple, grateful for the hero's protection and the information shared about the protagonist's ravaged village, prepares for the journey. As they set off, the protagonist is referred to as "Hero," a title they wear with pride. The story emphasizes the importance of aiding those in need over immediate revenge, with the protagonist hoping to find closure for their own past.

“We need to get out of here,” you decide. “Get you somewhere safe where your family can’t find you.”

Helga and Robbie agree. “You know a place?”

“In my travels, I found an abandoned cottage. Should be safe for you there.” You grasp Robbie’s arm in an embrace. “Thanks for the information about my village.”

“I hope you find what you’re looking for,” he answers.

Helga drops a few treasured items into a small chest and slings it over Robbie’s shoulder.

“Okay you two, let’s move. Stick close.”

Helga nods. “Lead the way, Hero.”
