Twittles 4 The Present
I cut it close— again

Please, step into the realm of ‘now’; it’s been so long for each of us. Might you remember the time— Ha! We cut it near; quickly, inside!!
Unless — wait up — that’s running away? If so, I’ve rehearsed what to say— “The story I tell myself is trash; I gain true power this day.”
Thank you, dear editors of Paper Poetry, for having me once more in your splendidly quite cozy Medium publication!
I’ve had eleventy cravings of late — they’re 80% for fast food and sweets, none of which have broken me yet in six months — but nothing so intense compared with my need for a good little ol’ twittle creation sesh!! Carolyn Hastings, she knew the feeling first, or else I — and countless others — wouldn’t be standing here today; on February 7th, 2022, she explained the rules in what I believe to be THE(?) original twittle story—
A twittle is a nutty poem in the class of a quatrain exactly one hundred alphabet letters a perfect workout for your brain © Carolyn Hastings 2022
Also, a thousand cheers for that day Carolyn and I both published twittles about AI’s shortcomings with character limitations! 😁 I’d nearly posted mine first, but giving it one more night’s sleep, she swiftly beat me to the punch with her own!!
And be careful, bots, for she’s still watching too.
Now, let’s actually get twittles to Mars already—
