Twelve Strings Of Happiness — Hunt for Happiness Scavenger Hunt Challenge
A Good Vibes Club Challenge by Trisha Faye
My creative ability never takes a day off. Who needs a break from being creative?

Here’s your Scavenger Hunt — a Baker’s Dozen in the hunt for happiness.
1. Who is a friend or family member that makes you smile, and why?
My husband gets on my nerves, but he makes me smile because he has a good heart. A girl wants a guy with a good heart. I don’t have any close friends. Never had. But I am happy talking to my sister and love playing with my 23 years old twin sons. We exercise together and spend hours talking about everything and nothing. My second daughter makes me laugh a lot when talking to her.

2. What’s your favorite song that brings a smile to your face?
My favorite song is Hero by Mariah Carey. She sings, “Lord knows, dreams are hard to follow. Don’t let anyone take them away. Hold on, there will be tomorrow, in time you’ll find a way.”
Don’t let anyone take your dreams away. And don’t you dare, give up!
3. Do you have a favorite pet or animal that fills your heart with love?
The birds whom I feed, live in my Mango and breadfruit trees. They serenade me many mornings. My heart is happy when listening to their song. It’s a bbbeeeaaauuutttiiifffuuulll thing to wake up to in the mornings. The dogs that sit at my gate that I feed. They are always happy to see me and I enjoy playing with them. I don’t know their owners.

4. What’s your favorite quote that makes you feel good?
This I just made up today, ‘Kindness and love are the cure for many of our world crises, but they won’t be able to do their job if cruelty and hatred are alive and well in your heart and actions.’ — Annelise Lords
I am sorry but I must find ways to motivate myself.
5. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
My creative ability never takes a day off. I am always creating something as inspiration hits. I should learn to control it. Lol Who needs a break from being creative?

6. When is a time that a stranger shared a kindness with you?
I was leaving the market and one of my bags burst and my fruits were on the ground. A male appeared. Took a bag from his back pocket, then took up all of my goods, put it in his bag, and handed it to me. He then disappeared as he appeared as I thanked him. I never saw him again.
7. What is your favorite book or movie that brings you joy when you read or watch it?
A Woman of Substance by Barbara Taylor Bradford. I read all 814 pages when I was fourteen years old. I became Emma Harte because #Iintend2survive no matter what. I love her resilience, determination, and strength.
8. What’s your favorite food?
I love Italian, but as I age, I no longer have a favorite food. I eat and enjoy what my taste buds or body can tolerate. Lol
9. What is something you’ve done recently that makes you proud?
I say no to one-sided friendships and relationships and got rid of the people in my life that threaten my sanity.
10. What’s a goal that you’re working towards?
To get one of my six manuscripts into a best seller.
11. What is your favorite smell?
This is a weird one. Lol. But I love the smell that fills my house when I bake my whole-wheat-coconut-prune-raisin-apricot bread with extra virgin olive oil. The aroma is intoxicating.

12. What color makes you feel happy?
I have a calming personality, so I love soft colors. All of them.
13. Over the past week, what is something that brought you a moment of joy?
It’s hot and I am happy to walk around in my house in my birthday suit and don’t have to worry about anyone catching me. It’s so damn hot some days I don’t want to think. It’s my husband and I alone and that is a damn good thing. Lol
