The humps and bumps of life

Twisted this life This life is twisted Beginning to look beautiful But making my life hell

People are together But still so far Somebody wants a friend Somebody wants a shoulder

We all have thoughts Of love and war They make us however However, we are

We were all born beautiful Life made us hard It made us unpredictable It made us selfish

I will forgive myself and others Nobody is perfect And we all have heart Maybe sometimes it is dark

This poem is in response to the tag word/prompt ‘Twisted’ given to me by the Arundhati.

Thank you for tagging me in your list of poets.

I’m further tagging some of the poets I admire to continue this chain with the prompt.
