Trump Takes Sons “Jet Shopping” While in NY

And Don Jr. knew just how to play it

Former President Trump is in New York, attending a trial in which both he and his two oldest sons, Don Jr. and Eric, are being accused by New York Attorney General Letitia James of inflating the Trump Organization’s net worth by billions of dollars in a scheme to obtain favorable terms on bank loans and insurance policies.

Trump seems to be using the trial as a campaign opportunity, both to raise money for his campaign and to decry it as just another example of a political witch hunt designed for election interference.

Don Jr. is spinning the trial for all it’s worth (to him) as well.

During a lunch break in the legal proceedings yesterday, Trump was seen meeting his boys at a jet charter company — Jets For Hire — located in lower Manhattan.

The company has a variety of jets available for charter, but also a smaller catalog of jets for sale. According to Jets For Hire salesperson Liz Sanders, the three Trumps spent their time going through the “for sale” inventory.

“Donald Jr. picked out two or three right away he’d like to own — a Hawker 400, a Dassault Falcon, and a Cessna Citation — as I remember,” Ms. Sanders explained to our reporter. “Very nice aircraft, and not cheap.”

“Eric was exceedingly excited about a Boeing 757,” she added, “but his father told him he couldn’t have one as big as his; he had to pick out a smaller aircraft. Eric, kind of in a pout, then went over to the window and just watched the crowds go by.”

When asked whether she was surprised to be visited by the former president and his sons, Ms. Sanders said she was, although she also knew Trump had originally bought his jet through Jets For Hire.

“What I wasn’t surprised by was how Don Jr. got his brother back into picking out a jet,” she added.

“I overheard him saying ‘come on bro, get back there and pick something out’.”

“This is our chance! I’ve got the old man thinking we might flip on him back there in court. You play it right and he just might spring for the big one.”

“You overheard Don Jr. say that he has Trump thinking he and his brother might flip on him!” our reporter exclaimed.

“Oh yes,” Sanders said. “Quite clearly. I guess I had a front row seat watching Trump family dynamics play out, and it didn’t surprise me one bit.”

“I’ve always said Don Jr. is the one to watch. He can be more Trumpian than Trump ever dreamed of. Trump has no idea what he spawned.”
