Thoughts on Trump finally getting COVID-19

It is confirmed that President Trump tested positive with the Corona Virus. I have a couple of thoughts.
I’m a bit baffled at Trump’s pathological negligence in regarding the handling of the pandemic early this year, in the February-March time period. A pandemic virus, in regards to mass disasters, are easy to prevent and defend against. There’s a great amount of foresight on the problem when a pandemic comes from afar like the novel corona virus did. It’s not like it’s classified information; you can see how it effect the country it first started in. There’s numerous resources a first world country’s federal government has.
First problem: Destroying National Pandemic Response Assets
Trump, demonstrating that he’s a horrendous forward-thinker, dismantled federal Pandemic response resources. Resources, President Obama left behind. This action in result created a situation where the U.S. federal government had an unexpectedly hands-off relationship with handling the pandemic. This forced states to fend on your own, with numerous American states competing with each other, talking to various foreign nations, something that the national, federal government should be doing. States, governors and mayors had to step in to fill the executive leadership void Trump left as he shrugged his shoulders proclaiming it’s not his fault.
Second problem: Trump panicked because he’s a phony.
When Trump got the news about this virus, he totally understood what it was, and decided to pretend it wasn’t what it was. He decided to downplay the pandemic threat. Trump stated that he didn’t want the United States to panic, but this is a blatant, nonsensical lie. America has handled worse problems before with the mental disposition of a Shaolin Monk. It was he who panicked.

Trump, a man of many manufactroversies, only plays tough towards manufactured problems and threats. He, Trump, is an actor. In this case, very much literally a crisis actor.
Remember the “caravans”, which supposed to be an “invasion” of brown bodies into the Southern United States that never happened? Remember him throwing troops at the border in 2018, needlessly ruining Thanksgiving weekends for hundreds of U.S. troops? Do you understand how “ANTIFA” isn’t a group, but Trump consistently proclaim they are a terror threat despite the fact that actual fascists are proven to be far more dangerous? Trump is only tough on counterfeit, fake, imaginary problems. He’s a coward in the face of a real one.
It’s not America who would have panicked; it’s Donald Trump, who did panicked. Trump wanted to Jedi-Mind-Trick the pandemic away through narcissistic pathological liar hypnosis.
Needless to say, Trump cannot change scientific reality.
The Republican National Convention came and went by. And Herman Cain’s name hasn’t been mentioned once.
Third Problem: Trump chose Yellow Peril Racism
Trump, in order to deflect from presidential responsibility (I’m so shocked how folk are trying to vote for this man after all of this) decided to turn to old-fashioned racism and call it the Chinese Virus. This profane act placed all Asian people — man, woman and child — in America under stochastic racial terror. The internet ether has numerous recordings of Asian people being accosted, attacked, and bullied. All because a sitting president wanted to build a racist relationship between an ethnic group and a pandemic virus. To duck responsibility and accountability. (I say this parenthetically: the real name of COVID-19 should be the “Trump Virus”. Possession is 9/10ths of the law. Much like the Proud Boys, it’s his now. It belongs to him and his Republican Party.)
Fourth Problem: Trump disrupts Pandemic Experts
Trump politicized medical recommendations. To uphold his lie that COVID-19 wasn’t a problem, Trump decidedly got in the way of actual top pandemic professionals who spent their entire lives studying and training for this moment. Trump created a wedge issue between wearing masks or not. Social distancing or not.
Opening or closing businesses, because business/finance is something he marginally understands, and has more positive control on. The American public and American money was in a hostage situation. Trump chose to try to save the money. Trump let the people die. I remember conservative folk at work, trying to shame mask wearing in the workplace, not understanding how much they are a follower for these parroting illogical talking points. I can only imagine the experience of others dealing with a higher, more belligerent conservative Trump-cult population. Doctor Anthony Fauci, a life-long pandemic expert and the premier expert in America, is still receiving death threats to him and his family, due to Trump’s cult-of-personality driving stochastic terrorism in America.
Fifth Problem: Trump divided America and allowed 200,000 to die

After the virus hit American shores, the death toll began to stack. Of course, locations which had all the ports and harbors of international travel, on top of high population densities, initially get his the hardest. That’s New York, Los Angeles, etc. The next thing the Trump-cult did was DIVIDE THE FUCKING NATION between “blue states” and “red states”, with the rationalization that blue states didn’t really matter because “that’s where the liberals are”.
I like to take a moment to pause being that I don’t remember ever seeing any political commentary pointing out how this mirrors various politically driven genocide agendas across human history, such as how the British in the U.K. enabled the Irish potato famine to occur, to make the Irish suffer for political reasons. I have not seen anyone of note actually point to this correlation in a meaningful manner, and it’s infuriating to think about.
The fact that Trump through his executive negligence was somewhat okay with mass deaths in what his administration designated as “blue states” —is categorically rage inducing. He — and by extension his base — decided which Americans were worth being alive. This resulted in currently well over 200,000+ deaths, which is more than all American killed in the Global War on Terrorism era, plus Kosovo, and Somalia and the First Gulf War. Trump and his republican cabal essentially decided to that this COVID-19 pandemic is going to serve as a real-life Thanos Snap onto what they perceive as the “liberal” population of America. I don’t have words for how morally bankrupt this is.
I can speak on the flaw in dividing America into “blue and red state” geographic neat-lines. I can speak on the idiocy of not realizing that conservatives are more likely to die by this virus in these “blue states” due to a politically-charged disregard to pandemic protocol. But I don’t want to do that. Because dividing the nation into blue states and red states to prioritize who gets proper aid and assistance, or how acceptable thousands of American dead is, is categorically wrong on levels beyond profane. This is profoundly wrong, especially being that it borders genocidal intent. Genocidal, intent.
No different than the flu, right?
So here we are now. Trump, got the corona virus. And his wife. And Hope Hicks, whatever her job is. As I’m writing this, Trump was flown to the hospital.
There’s a lot of people, American conservatives, who are attempting to engage in grand-scale concern trolling for this recently contaminated clinically obese septuagenarian. When it comes to sympathy, empathy and all of that, the reason why it feels like it’s too much to ask that, is simply because we as people innately grant sympathy for those who deserve it. I don’t want to even write a long list of transactions against humanity Trump fullheartedly committed. The fact that he sought to protect dead confederates faster than the living American sick, is enough for me.
White people : stop asking Black folk and other people you seek to harm by way of institutional powers, to give a damn about your champion oppressor. Stop demanding condolences. These are the things abusive relationships are made of, because Trump and the rest of y’all don’t care about us when we die. Looking at this pandemic response you failed at, it shows.
There’s a lot of people on the internet who have tears to shed for this man. I’m not one of them. Trump and your Republican Party have diminished the standards of basic human decency too deep to even attempt to shame anyone at this point. Ruth Bader Ginsburg on her dying death bed had one last wish, and you couldn’t shed decency to honor that. Herman Cain died a fool for the GOP, for Trump, contracting the coronavirus, dying for the lie, and you can’t even say his name.
The Republican National Convention came and went by. And Herman Cain’s name hasn’t been mentioned once.
Perhaps I should speak in your language, my American conservative friend. Trump is sick? Don‘t focus on him, because don’t All Lives Matter?. No no no, don’t get me wrong here. I don’t support death. Not at all. I’m only telling Death in this very special case, to stand back and stand by.
It is what it is.
