Tripping the Trap

The force of the arrow sends you staggering back a step.

Dara readies her bow, and you scan the shadows for your attacker.

A trio of moss-camouflaged orcish scouts emerge from the woods, snarling and brandishing their weapons. You grip your axe tighter and grimace at the pain in your shoulder.

“Stand back!” Dara exclaims, “I’ll deal with this.”

She prepares to fire an arrow at the nearest orc when you notice a fourth scout approaching Dara’s flank.

You are injured, but ready for vengeance and willing to help.

What do you do?
