Summary

The article discusses the importance of listening to one's intuition, acknowledging the distractions and unconscious traumas that can hinder this connection, and suggests methods for clearing one's mind to better receive intuitive guidance.

Abstract

The article "Trick or Treat" delves into the concept of intuition and the obstacles that prevent individuals from accessing it. It likens intuition to a shadow that seeks light and attention, often communicating in a language that is not easily understood. The author describes the persistent efforts of this inner voice, which may manifest as recurring thoughts or feelings that one is initially unable to interpret. The article suggests that procrastination and unresolved tasks or traumas act as barriers to intuition, equating these undone tasks to an intuition killer. To overcome these barriers, the author recommends cleaning one's "channel" to the Higher Self, much like cleaning a windscreen to see the road ahead clearly. The article also touches on the brief moments when the ego resists intuition and the importance of focusing on these critical junctures to make a change. A personal anecdote from the author involves using crystals to quiet the mind and listen to intuition. The piece concludes with a thank you to Diana C. for prompting the discussion on intuition and provides links to related readings on the theme.

How we are tricked by our noise

Your shadow is always looking for light, s/he needs to be treated, sending purpose twits to make you know. S/he wants you to know that s/he is in the waiting room.

You receive those twits in a language you don’t know how to translate. You are fed up with this annoying gui/rl keeping pulling you by the elbow. Then seeing that it is not enough, s/he trips you and then once again until you understand and agree to listen to her/him.

At last you address her/him and you accept to enter the night of your soul to treat your issue.

You stop reacting and accept to act

Two things prevent you to hear your intuition, a task not done or an unconscious trauma. In fact, both are a task not done. Procrastination is intuition killer. You have to clean your channel to your Higher Self.

Clean your windscreen to see the road

Intuition comes at any time, sometimes our ego is stubborn in errors. Sometimes we choose in half of a second to not follow our intuition. Then we realize and focus on the half of a second to change that.

When I need an answer or a direction, I take any of my crystals and stay half a minute or more in silence, or without any.
