To Women: Please Protect Yourselves
Does protecting yourself have an expiration date?

Two stories in particular I’d like to talk about today. The names will be undisclosed.
First, this woman who says she is conservative and tries to always be aware of her surroundings, sometimes uses her conceal carry permit. This one day she used her husband’s vehicle and did not carry her pistol. After she left the grocery store her spider sense was tingling, she finished what she was doing and hopped in the vehicle. First, she put her seatbelt on, then went to lock the doors and could not find the door lock button quick enough before this guy jumped in her car. She’s fine, but end of story.
Second story: there was a young lady I knew, who we went to the same church a long time ago before I went into the military. Her story is also quite short. She went into the game of marketing and sales — hate to say pyramid scheme — but, essentially that’s what it is. She did pretty well in growing up through it, hitting close to 60 or 70k followers in a short amount of time. Like a woman, she moved from her family to another state at the worst time in her life to do so. She made a choice one evening, believing it to be good. A quiet night it was for the city she lived in, nothing was expected, then her body was found the next morning.
Women, can I be honest?
Some women, not all or maybe not even half, don’t seem to care too much for their lives. All women say they care about their lives, but a lot of their actions don’t back up those words. Let me take a quick second to say what should be done in just those two situations.
The following list is just the basics, not even getting into real safety.
Situation 1
- Before leaving your driveway, know your car.
- Do not apply your seatbelt until you know for sure that you do not need to jump out. And you don’t know that until you are in Drive.
- I hit the door lock BEFORE sitting in the driver’s seat. Do you know how many times a year someone’s door is opened the very second it is shut? If you did, you would do what I do.
- If your sunroof, doors, or any other human-sized opening exists, check your backseats before buckling your seatbelt, locking you in place for people to do whatever they want. Great way to get chocked out.
- I don’t care how alert you think you are, or might be, wrong move and boom, it’s over.
- Even in the middle of the day you may be surprised to know a bystander may just call 911 and watch.
Situation 2
- If you’re living in a situation the world scratches their head about, maybe look into it instead of thinking you’re immortal. Maybe reach out to a guy that has psychological and situational insight.
- In this story, there is a lot of red flags altogether. 100% sad. I know her family, my heart goes out to them.
- If your guy has the potential to know some undesirable men, don’t play around.
- The better looking you are, the more cautious you have to be, because the less people you can trust. There is a level of beauty where a lot of men would take advantage of the situation. This points leads to next published story: To the Beautiful Woman.
I can do this with another 3 dozen stories. Do you have a story you want to be breakdown? Let me know.
If anyone heard me say “be scared”, you’re lost and allow me to give the details. Being tough has nothing to do with being scared. Not being caught has nothing to do with being scared. Not getting stuck in a car has nothing to do with being scared.
All I’m saying is: Don’t get caught. As they said a long time ago, “don’t get caught with your pants down.” If what you believe equates to 2+2=10, you probably need to ask some questions. [you + unlocked doors + stuck = messy] [you + unlocked doors + avenue of escape = alive but losing your mode of transportation] [you + locked doors = those Claritin Clear commercials]. Too easy.
There was this story I read about a couple years ago where a college-age boy said “dang, who’s that?” at someone far away. Turned out to be a 70-year old lady. Point is, men will respond based on their perception of you. All the time. Maybe she was conceal carrying, the dude will still have jumped in her car because she’s female. That poses another threat, if she could not draw her pistol smooth enough, that dude would have grabbed it out of defense, and a bystander could have been struck. Not only that, but your eardrums will die if fired in the car.
Thank you for reading! Thank you for positive comments!!
