To Be Known
A haiku
I write to be known As I am from inside out imperfect; human.
Why do you write?
I write to feel alive, to know myself better, to set my words and heart free, and to be known in the world as the perfectly imperfect human I am. I believe that sharing ourselves vulnerably and intimately from the inside out is the pathway to deep, meaningful, and authentic connection.
This is why I write and why I created Being Known — to offer this safe space to fellow writers who have joined me in excavating and sharing their true selves.
What a gift to my soul this adventure has been!
As I near my one year anniversary on the platform, I have been increasingly present to the gift this has been in my life, not just in writing but in challenging self-limiting beliefs, pushing myself, and showing up day after day with integrity to write, publish and edit; moving with velocity towards my dreams and living into my preferred future!
Thank you for being on this ride with me.
