Time to Transform
The universe’s message is love and transformation reflected in some great reads I’ve come across recently
A time of change and transformation
A quick message from the goddess cards today that has given me some insight that I want to share. I pulled the Serpent card. It is a symbol of change and transformation. Just as the snake sheds its old skin, we do the same. I’m in the midst of my transformation as well — I’m 9 months into my HRT. I have been slowly changing all these days. I know I’ve grown a lot — I’m feeling more love from the universe and more peace, even in these days when things aren’t certain in the world.
I am excited to see the changes that are coming. We have the power to make adjustments in our outlooks and in our world. The over arching message I’ve been receiving from the universe lately is love. Love myself and love others.
Love is the key to changing our world for the better.
I love all of you!

Reflections on loving an asshole
I know I haven’t always been the best person in my life. Everyone has had their moments of not being at their best. Sometimes when we aren’t loving to ourselves, we attract negativity into our lives. Sometimes we become that negativity ourselves.
Elliot Ames writes about being in love with an asshole.
“I had a dream about him. Again.”
“It’s been five years, but now and then he still creeps into my thoughts. Although I never told him I loved him — that wouldn’t have been ‘chill’ or ‘cool’ of me — I did honestly love him.” …
“But then I have to remind myself — he was kind of an asshole. And you know who else was an asshole? Me. The two of us were only compatible because we were both two self-centered jerks who met at precisely the right time.” — Elliot Ames
Timeless lesson of wisdom from Laozi
Another timeless lesson is knowing things in life are relative to our particular frame of reference. Beauty is judged against current standards, but change circumstances, and our beauty definition changes based on the new frame of reference.
kabir writes:
“Our perception is never constant, it is non-rigid, supple, flexible, and susceptible to changes. We define our own standards and we change them quite often. Our perception is relative!” — kabir
A poem about hiding under the clouds
Ann Hajdu Hultberg’s poem is worthy of taking a moment or two to read and ponder as she reflects on hiding under the clouds. I have felt this way before.
A poem about self love
IMΛBӨПG FΛMIПЦ writes a poem about self love you should read and consider in these days when marketers always want you to feel like you aren’t enough and need to spend a lot of money for “improvement.”

Love makes him a better man
Harry Hogg writes about love:
“I’m a different person now, a better person. This is who I am after love. I am a happy man. I’m a better man because being in love taught me to share more.” — Harry Hogg.
Your children are hearing your conspiracy theories also
Noma Dek reminds us to be careful to not teach children the wrong things. If we remember this, we will be doing our part to make the world a better place.
“I felt a huge sense of sadness flashing through me as I listened to that young woman spew this kind of rhetoric and hold it as truth. Shocked and careful what to say next I paused for a moment.” — Noma Dek.
